The package includes:

  • 32m2 of Brazilian Black Slate Tiles
  • 8 x 20Kgs adhesive
  • 6 x 3Kg grout
  • 4 x 1L sealer

Description

  • Each tile is 800 x 400 x 10mm (+/- 2mm)
  • Graphite colour - colour range from medium grey to light black with natural markings and veining
  • Easy on the feet - no harsh ridges on the surface
  • Extremely hard wearing and easy to maintain
  • Once sealed virtually maintenance free
  • Suits modern and traditional schemes
  • Exceptional accuracy - allowing customers to run a very thin grout line

Installation Method 

Here we provide an overview of the installation method we recommend

  • Prepare a flat level solid surface i.e. concrete pad
  • Fix the tiles using external grade adhesive - we suggest using a 20mm notched trowel
  • Grout the joints using external grade grout - use a grout float to work the grout into the joints
  • Once the area has been washed, cleaned and dried, seal the tiles with a good quality impregnating sealer. Apply two coats and do not allow the sealer to "pool" on the surface - wipe off any excess
